[ZenWiFi AX Hybrid]What should I take care of when using PLC Network as Mesh Backhaul?
Make sure XP4 connects within a circuit. If you put the router and node on different volt circuits, there is no path in the breaker panel to connect them. The signal would have to travel out of your house to the transformer on the electric power pole or connect through a 220-110 volt box substation circuit. HomePlug PLC link is unlikely workable, and if it does, the performance will be significantly degraded.
Generally, HomePlug signal can be used across fuse boxes or circuit breakers. Few kinds of circuit breakers or fuse boxes that implement high-frequency filtering design can weaken the PLC communication. For the special fuse box, the electrical panel also could act as a cross-phase coupler, make powerline signals “couple” or "radiate" across the electrical service panel's circuit breaker bus bars. In most cases, they have little influence on the communication of PLC.
