When the flashlight of Zenfone camera doesn't work, please follow the below steps for initial troubleshooting :
1. After launching the Camera and you find the flashlight is not working, please check the condition and setting of flashlight by tapping the lightning icon at upper right for adjustment.
2. You can also launch the FlashLight app to check whether the flashlight works
3. Update firmware to latest version：Settings > System> System updates > Check now.
4. Access to Safe Mode : Long press Power key > Tap and hold the Power Off > Tap Ok. If your phone / tablet works well while in safe mode , malfunction might be caused by the 3rd party app(s). Please reboot your phone / tablet and try again.
5. Back up your data and perform factory data reset. Note: Once RESET was performed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted after initialization.
If the flashlight of Zenfone camera is not bright or strong enough, please follow the below steps :
1. If you are using a screen protector or phone case/covers, please make sure it isn't obstructing the flashlight as it might affect the brightness.
2. Update firmware to latest version：Settings > System> System updates > Check now.
3. Access to Safe Mode : Long press Power key > Tap and hold the Power Off > Tap Ok. If your phone / tablet works well in the safe mode ,the problem might be caused by the 3rd party apps. Please reboot your phone / tablet and try the flashlight again.
4. Back up your data and perform factory data reset. Note: Once RESET was performed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted after initialization.
