Because most of Windows 10 and later supports Modern Standby, [Notebook] will automatically enter the sleep state when the screen is turned off (learn more about how to confirm whether Modern Standby is supported)
If you want the machine to continue to operate normally when the screen is turned off, you can try the following settings:
1. Enter the ''Control panel''
2. Click on ''Hardware and Sound''
3. Click on ''Power Options''
4. Click ''Choose what closing the lid does''
5. Set the two options of ''When I close the lid'' to ''Do nothing'', and click to
''save changes'', so that the system will still work normally when the screen is turned off.
