[Phone] How to Cast Your Screen and Troubleshooting
You can use the casting feature to share your phone screen.
Casting the screen:
1. Ensure you have a working Wi-Fi network by turning on the Wi-Fi function.
* The phone and the display device need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Settings app.
3. Tap Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast.
4. Tap the device you want to display the screen on.
Stopping the screen casting:
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast.
3. Tap the device displaying the screen.
4. Tap Disconnect.
How to Troubleshoot Casting Issues
Try the following steps to resolve casting issues:
1. Check phone settings: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast, tap the top right corner to enable wireless screen sharing, and ensure the casting feature is enabled.
2. Confirm display device compatibility: Please contact the device manufacturer to verify if it supports wireless projection.
3. Ensure Wi-Fi network connection: Both the phone and the display device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
4. Update system software: Ensure both devices have the latest software updates.
5. Factory reset: Back up your data and perform a factory reset
*Note: A factory reset will erase all data on your phone.
