[NUC] Why Is the SATA Disk Read/Write Speed on My NUC Slow?
Resolution
When dealing with read/write speed issues, try the following:
- Make sure the drive is compatible with the NUC based on the SATA specifications stated in the Technical Product Specifications for your NUC model.
- Try another drive and check if the issue persists.
- Test the same drive in another compatible system and check if the issue persists.
- Try using a third party tool to measure the read/write speed of your drive.
- Update your BIOS to the latest version. You can find the latest BIOS version for your NUC model in our Download Center.
- Update the drive's firmware, by visiting the drive's manufacturer's website.
If the issue persists, contact ASUS Customer Support.
