[NUC] SSD Speed is Too Slow on NUC

What are you seeing?

Poor performance and slow speeds with an M.2 SSD installed in the NUC Kit.

• The speed is about half of what is expected.
• Speed is 1500MB/s or lower, when it should be over 3000 MB/s

Why are you seeing it?

There was an error in the ME settings.

How to fix it

• Update the NUC to the latest BIOS version, using the Security Jumper recovery method.
• Test performance with software from hard drive manufacturers
