After installing all the available drivers from either a manual installation or using the .INF pack process the user may inspect device manager to check for missing devices. If using the “Show hidden devices” command the user may see an entry for Other devices.
[Resolution]
Once “Other devices” is expanded the user may see entries for “USB4 Virtual power coordination device”, these devices are native to Windows 11 and are used by Microsoft to act as a virtual handler for each USB4/TBT4 port. This is considered normal operation.
