[NUC] NUC Wireless Card Disappeared from the Device Manager.

Resolution

Try these steps for possible solutions:

  1. Make sure that the Bluetooth* and ethernet LAN port are working.
  2. Ensure the BIOS is up to date.  Here are the steps to update BIOS on a NUC: BIOS Update Instructions for NUC
  3. Make sure that Wireless LAN Controller is enabled on BIOS

Access the BIOS Setup program by pressing F2 after the Power-On Self-Test (POST) memory test starts and before the operating system boots.
If any problems occur after making BIOS settings changes, such as poor performance or intermittent issues, reset the desktop board to default values:

  1. Press F2 during boot to enter the BIOS setup.
  2. Press F9 to set defaults.
  3. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  4. If the system locks or does not boot after changing the BIOS settings, do a BIOS recovery.

     4. Install the latest driver for the Wireless adapter. Go to Download Center. Please enter your product in the "search specifications" bar and click on the "magnifying glass" icon to find the driver available for the NUC. Filter by "Download type" and "Operating System", download the driver and follow the instructions on the installation wizard.
