[NUC] NUC Can't Detect Installed Memory

Resolution

1. Remove and reseat the memory.
2. Make sure the contacts on the memory and the socket are clean.
3. Check for physical damage on the memory slots and the whole NUC unit.
4. Check for a faulty memory module by trying the memory in a known good system.
5. Try memory modules that are known to be good (they work in a different system).

If the NUC has two memory slots:

• Try using just one memory module at a time, first in the upper slot and then in the lower slot.
• Try using memory modules from the same manufacturer with the same part number and speed.

Note	The use of two different memory modules may prevent the NUC from starting. Installing an incompatible or detective module will stop the NUC from booting.
