[NUC] No Display on the Secondary Monitor When Accessing the BIOS on an NUC

Resolution

NUCs only use one display when accessing the BIOS and it is set to the primary monitor defined within the BIOS settings. 

In order to select which monitor can be configured to be the primary monitor, please follow the steps below.

  1. Start the NUC. During boot, when the F2 prompt is displayed, press F2 to enter the BIOS configuration settings
  2. Click Advanced
  3. Click Video
  4. On the Primary Display, you may choose the following:
    1. Auto - Discrete Graphics Card will be set as a Primary Display While the Integrated Graphics will be set as a Secondary Display
    2. IGFX - The Integrated Graphics will be set as a Primary Display and the Discrete Graphics Card will be set as a Secondary Display
    3. PEG Slot - Discrete Graphics Card will be set as a Primary Display While the Integrated Graphics will be set as a Secondary Display
