[NUC] LEDs Don't Work on NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK or NUC8i7HNK

LED Control is disabled in BIOS | By default, all LED Zones are set to Software Controlled in BIOS Setup. This allows you to control the LEDs from the LED Manager for NUC software.

LED cable inside the chassis is disconnected. | It is possible that the LED cable inside the chassis is not properly connected. Here's how to check. Remove the six screws on top of the chassis, using the hex key that was included in the box, and remove the cover. Check the three cable connections on the top plate to be sure they are fully connected. Unscrew the small silver screw to release the top plate. Check the cable connection to the motherboard to be sure it is fully connected. Replace the plate and top cover, then test the LEDs again. |
