[NUC] Is It Acceptable to Place an NUC 11th/12th Generation Extreme Kit Sideways?
Resolution
The NUC is able to function without issues if it is placed sideways/in a horizontal way if the space lets the airflow.
Important note
The lateral/side panels of the chassis act as air vents, and if they are covered or blocked then the airflow can be compromised and cause overheating.
Make sure the location has the proper conditions and do not block the air vents of the NUC to allow proper airflow. Consider using stand-offs or pads to raise the chassis off the surface to provide space.
