[NUC] How to Access Setup Mode in NUC9 Products
Resolution
When a unit fails to enter the Setup menu, follow the below instructions.
- Update the BIOS to the latest version or at least later than BIOS 0065.
- Boot the device.
- Enter the BIOS by pressing the F2 key.
- Navigate to Boot and select Secure Boot. Then select the Secure Boot option.
- Make sure Secure boot = Enabled and Secure Boot Mode = Standard.
- Press F10 to save and reboot.
- Again, enter the BIOS by pressing the F2 key.
- Navigate to Boot>Secure Boot and select Secure Boot.
- Change Secure Boot Mode to Custom. Leave Secure Boot as Enabled.
- Press Reset To Setup Mode.
- Press F10 to save and reboot.
- The next time the device is put into Secure Boot setup mode, the NUC9 will actually enter Setup mode.
