[NUC] Error Message: "Unable to install the driver. There is no adapter on this computer." Encountered When Installing Ethernet Adapter Driver on NUC10i7FNH
Resolution
- Download the latest Ethernet (LAN) Network Connection Driver for Windows® 10 for NUC from Download Center.
- Change the downloaded .exe file format to .zip, and extract to any folder.
- Open Device Manager.
- Navigate to Network adapter > Ethernet Connection I219-V.
- Right-click and select Update driver.
- Select Browse my computer for driver software.
- Select Let me pick a list of available drivers on my computer
- Select Have Disk
- Select Browse and locate the extracted folder.
- Navigate to the e1r68x64.inf file in the folder, for example: C:\LAN-Win10-25.6\PRO1000\Winx64\NDIS68, and click OK.
- Uncheck Show compatible hardware.
- Select Ethernet Connection I219-LM and click Next.
