[NUC] Error Code 0xA0010055 when Enabling Optane Memory
Resolution
- Press F2 consecutively after pressing the power button.
- When the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) screen displays, click Advanced and then click the SATA tab under Device.
- Change Chipset SATA Mode to Intel RST Premium with Intel Optane System Acceleration.
- Press F10 to save changes.
- Set the Windows 10 20H2 installer (USB key) on the USB port and restart the computer.
- Press F10 consecutively at startup to open the boot menu screen.
- Follow the Windows Installation Wizard.
- At the Where do you want to install Windows screen, select Drive 0 and click New.
- Adjust the storage size to a number with 0 as the last two digits.
- For example, change 114473 MB to 114400 MB
- Click Apply > click OK > click Next for the installation to begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- When the desktop screen appears, open the Disk Management.
- Confirm that an unsorted item on the last partition is greater than 5MB.
- Download and install the Optane driver.
- Unzip the file and right-click iaStorAC.inf to install
- Restart the computer.
- At the Microsoft store, search and install Optane™ Memory and Storage Management.
- Launch the software and enable the Optane Module.
