1.How to select the power supply unit that suits the Graphics Card ?

Visit https://rog.asus.com/event/PSU/ASUS-Power-Supply-Units/global/index.htm-->Choose your CPU and GPU specifications: CPU as follows: intel Core i3/ intel Core i5;  GPU: NVDIA Geforce RTX 4070; OFF Overclocking Recommended for "550W Power Supply"

2. GC-HPWR Graphics Card Output Slot

The motherboard is equipped with a GC-HPWR Graphics Card output slot. This slot is connected to the gold finger of the GC-HPWR Graphics Card to power the Graphics Card.

Example: Motherboard: TX GAMING B760-BTF WIFI

3. GC-HPWR Graphics Card Input Slot

The motherboard is equipped with two types of GC-HPWR Graphics Card input slots. These slots are used to connect to a power supply. The connection socket provided by the power supply has been specifically designed to plug into the GC-HPWR Graphics Card slot on the board in a specific direction. After finding the correct insertion direction, you can simply put it into the slot steadily.

Example: Motherboard: TX Gaming B760-BTF WIFI

4. GC-HPWR Graphics Card Input Slot LED Indicator

The motherboard is equipped with four GC-HPWR Graphics Card input slot LED Graphics Card lights, which can indicate the connection status of the GC-HPWR Graphics Card input slot.

The corresponding LED indicator lights are always on, and no display at this time.

Correctly connect to the 12V-2x6 slot

12V-2X6_LED indicator light extinguishing (normal)

3 PCIE_8PIN_LED Indicators are always on (normal)

All indicators are off, which means that the graphics card can be displayed normally.

Correctly connect 1-3 PCIE_8PIN_PWR slots

        1. 12V_2X6_LED Indicator light is always on (normal)

2. PCIE_8PIN_LED All Indicator Lights Extinguish (Normal)* PCIE_8PIN_LED
Some Indicator Lights Are Always On (Less Than PCIE_8PIN_PWR Number).

1. All LED indicator lights are off, which means that the Graphics Card can be displayed normally

*

• 12V-2X6 slot or PCIE_8PIN_PWR slot only need to be connected to one of the two;
• *If you choose to connect PCIE_8PIN power supply plugs, please follow the GC-HPWR Graphics Card requirements to connect enough plugs to maintain sufficient power supply. If the light of the connected PCIE_8PIN_LED part is always on, it means that the number of power plugs is insufficient, which may cause insufficient power supply and fail to start. You need to add PCIE_8PIN_PWR slots or switch to 12V_2X6 slots only (please refer to the number of power plug PCIE_8PIN_PWR s specified in the installation manual of the Graphics Card number: EX: TX GAMING-RTX4070 series recommendations PCIE_8PIN_PWR x2 or PCIE_8PIN_PWR x3)

The LED indicator of the power input slot of the GC-HPWR graphics card will only display when the GC-HPWR graphics card is installed.

When a normal graphics card is installed or no graphics card is installed, the GC-HPWR graphics card power input slot LED indicator will be off.

Install the GC-HPWR graphics card power input. Please correctly connect the 12V-2X6 power plug or PCIE_8PIN power plug that comes with the power supply to the GC-HPWR graphics card power input slot on the motherboard.

• 12V-2X6 slot or PCIE_8PIN_PWR slot, just choose one of the two to connect;
• Choose to connect the PCIE_8PIN power plug. Please be sure to connect a sufficient number of plugs according to the requirements of the GC-HPWR graphics card to maintain sufficient power supply. If the number of connected PCIE_8PIN power plugs is not enough, the power supply may be insufficient and the startup may fail. (Please refer to the installation manual of the graphics card model to specify the number of power plugs PCIE_8PIN_PWR: EX: TX GAMING-RTX4070 series recommends PCIE_8PIN_PWR x2 or PCIE_8PIN_PWR x3)
• Be sure to fully insert the power supply plug into the power input slot of the GC-HPWR graphics card.
• PCIE_8PIN to 12V_2X6 power adapter cable connection is not supported; please use an independent PCIE power cable. Using both ends of the PCIE separation cable may cause damage.
• After connecting the power connector, you need to confirm that it is completely connected and all the latches are positioned (the interface on the power supply side/the interface on the display adapter side/the interface on the power adapter cable)

Completely connected latches Not Completely connected latches

5. Install the GC-HPWR graphics card.

Example: Graphics card: TX GAMING-RTX4070-O12G-BTF; Motherboard: TX GAMING B760-BTF WIFI

Step 1: Install the GC-HPWR graphics card. Please insert the two golden fingers of the GC-HPWR graphics card firmly into the PCIEX16 slot of the motherboard and the power output slot of the GC-HPWR graphics card at the same time, and then tighten the fixing screws of the graphics card bracket.

Before installation, please also note that you need to confirm that the power supply is powered off. Please be sure to fully insert the power supply gold finger of the GC-HPWR graphics card into the power output slot of the GC-HPWR graphics card.

6. Remove the GC-HPWR graphics card:

Example: Graphics card: TX GAMING-RTX4070-O12G-BTF; Motherboard: TX GAMING B760-BTF WIFI

Please remove the graphics card fixing screw first. The first PCIEX16 slot on the motherboard has an ASUS graphics card easy-to-remove key, which allows you to easily remove the expansion card installed in this PCIE slot. Then gently press the ASUS graphics card easy-to-detach button until you hear a "click" sound.

If the ASUS graphics card easy-to-detach button does not spring back to reset after releasing it, the unlocking is successful. At this time, steadily lift the expansion card to remove it. After removing the expansion card, the ASUS graphics card easy-to-remove button will automatically spring back to reset.

Please also make sure that the power supply is powered off before removing it.
