[LCM] XG27UCG Resolution, Refresh Rate, and Aspect Control Simulating 24.5" Important Notes

Q1. ASUS LCD MONITOR: ROG XG27UCG /XG27UCG-W using Aspect Control to simulate 24.5" - Important Notes:

A1.

When OSD: Frame rate boost is turned off and Aspect Control is set to simulate 24.5", the monitor can only support a refresh rate of 60Hz.
When OSD: Frame rate boost is turned on and Aspect Control is set to simulate 24.5", the monitor can support a refresh rate of 180Hz.

Timing Table (Resolution and Refresh Rate) can be referred to in the User Manual (UM).
For example, in the case of XG27UCG with Aspect Control simulating 24.5", it can only support a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Q2. For the XG27UCG / XG27UCG-W LCD monitor, if you connect it using an HDMI 2.1 connection from an NVIDIA graphics card, it does not support the DSC (Display Stream Compression) feature.
A2. As a result, it cannot support a resolution of 4K with a refresh rate of 160Hz (it can support 4K@144Hz). It is recommended to use a DisplayPort 1.4 connection instead, as it can support 4K@160Hz.
Note: This limitation applies to NVIDIA graphics cards only. HDMI 2.1 can support 4K@160Hz with AMD or Intel graphics cards.
