Applicable Products: ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9400CBA)、ASUS ExpertBook B7 Flip (B7402FBA)

If your computer experiences slow booting (e.g., after pressing the power button, the screen remains black for about one minute before the ASUS logo appears) after performing a Windows Update; or if there is a yellow bang on the Firmware in Device Manager, and you encounter slow booting and an incomplete update when attempting to restart for a firmware update, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:

Solution:

Please visit the ASUS support site to download and update the BIOS to the latest version using the ASUS EZ Flash Utility. (For B9400CBA and B7402FBA, please update to version 320 or later.) For detailed BIOS update instructions, please refer to this article: How to Update BIOS Using EZ Flash.

Note: After updating the BIOS, you may be required to enter the BitLocker recovery key to unlock and access the operating system. For detailed steps, please refer to this article: How to Find the BitLocker Recovery Key.

Note: It is recommended to temporarily disable device encryption and standard BitLocker encryption before updating the BIOS, then re-enable them after the update to ensure data security. For more information, please refer to this article: Introduction to Device Encryption and Standard BitLocker Encryption.
