ZenUI missing resize split screen functionality

Hello everyone!
I recently changed my phone to Zenfone 7 pro and I am satisfied. Smartphone is powerful and responsive but missing option to resize split screen applications are destroying joy of using this enormous display.
I often watched YT on the top of screen while reading something on the bottom on my previous phone with 5.7 inch display. It was more comfortable on smaller phone when I could resize YT to show only the video than on the huge screen of Zenfone when the 2 apps is in 50:50 ratio. It makes me feel it's waste of potential of the display.
Question to fellow users: What do you think guys?
Question to developers: Do you find it hard to implement?
