Zenfone 5Z fingerprint reader not working after Android 10 update.

My fingerprint reader used to work flawlessly. Now that I updated to Android 10, it works maybe 5% of the time. I have to re-scan my finger about 10 times to unlock my phone, and I constantly get "fingerprint not recognized" and "sensor is dirty" error messages. I cannot register new prints, and rebooting/restoring the phone doesn't fix it. It also doesn't work in apps that utilize the fingerprint reader
This is awful, and is seriously pissing me off.
Is anybody else having this problem with thier 5Z, after the Android 10 update

FIngerprint recognition is slow but not as bad as in ur case. Try deleting and re-registering your fingerprint data
