Frequent updates of Zenfone Max Pro M1 and why split screen is disabled

I have recieved too much update messages since last month and today 07/24/2019 was the latest update that I recieved.This updates causes some of my phone's features to disappear one given disabled was the split screen feature.What is the matter?

What are you talking about? There's been no update since June for Max Pro M1.
Plus, the split screen does work.
