Fingerprint update

I think that the fingerprint in rog 2 is really annoying for almost everyone. Why is asus not doing anything to actually make the fingerprint fast. This is very very slow. Drawing a pattern is actually easy than using fingerprint. I thought that the fingerprint issue will be fixed with Android 10. But nothing was done.

A small FYI notice. Pressing the fingerprint when it's in Always On Display mode takes longer than when the phone is awake. So if you press the power button before you use the fingerprint, you will notice that the unlocking is much faster. If you use functions like "lift to wake screen" then you will probably feel that the fingerprint is much faster.

This has no problem. The fingerprint for unlocking the phone is working well. But only the applock is making problems. It's kinda making the phone slow for few seconds . It would be really nice if the applock is improved.

As zereul said, perhaps you can reregister your fingers to get a better imprint.

How long does it take you to unlock your phone with fingerprint?

When did we say that Android 10 would improve the fingerprint reader?

I think that asus is not going to reply if you have a proof and they don't have an answer. Asus is really worst in software and they are not even trying to make improvements.
