[What are required to be a Beta Tester?]  
Own a ROG Phone 2(ZS660KL)
Be a member of ZenTalk and actively participate in the discussion of ZenFone on ZenTalk.
Be willing to provide detailed information including IMEI, Serial Number(SN), Current Firmware for the beta test setting 
Be able to read and provide feedback in English
Be familiar with Android operating system

[What will Beta Testers have?]
Get the latest firmware (Beta Version) by FOTA and experience the latest Zen UI features
Authorized to access the restricted board [Beta Testing]

[What are the responsibilities of a Beta Tester?]
Participate in every Beta version release and test on a daily basis
Report valid bugs with the correct format
Maintain confidentiality of the Beta Testing program
Be sure to post all beta-testing related issues in beta restricted board

I would suggest you guys don't get too excited because it will take more 2 months because closed beta testers will take around 1 month to test 3 to 4 builds to make official build stable enough and later that will be released.

Huh...what about OnePlus?even my 1 year old OnePlus 6 got android 10 last month and that too like stable ...no bugs..

Even redmi k20 pro got android 10 almost close to 2 months ago...

Oneplus having advantage of regular software updates. Even my 4 years old oneplus 3 got and update yesterday. Hopefully Asus also follow the trend and give us regular updates as well.

OnePlus has strong beta testing team and most of them are community members and old OnePlus fans who does that for OnePlus who are great at their work and builds are pushed on weekly basis.

Neither open nor closed Beta builds are available as of now. We all are waiting for the same. Now you too in queue.

It's closed beta
Yes the phone can be used as a daily driver
But the thing is betas don't have CTS authentication(mostly)
So your online payment apps (like google pay) won't work
