DanishbluntFfs 😭 getting PTSD reading thishttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/237323#Comment_237323
This was exacly the same thing they did on the Rog5. @waxy78611 getting dejavu now. From what I know, this is what youll have to live with.
For refrence, this is a recording of my Rog3 (microphone ~50-60cm away from phone)

With some tweaking you could get borderline insane sound out of the Rog3, thanks to its dedicated amp per speaker configuration. The problem with the Rog6 is the downgraded speakers + single amp. ASUS is trying to get nice and bassy sound out of the speakers but it's impossible to do without messing other frequencies up, so in the end they opted for a flat line and gave up on a v shape profile.

DeLLiAnOYep, they are aware of it and the investigation is still going on, I'm keeping an eye on the issue. Can you please get them notified of this post after new firmware .220??
New update .220... What they did with music/speakers. Fix and new problems
No more bass crackling sounds like a subwoofer signal trough mono speaker!!
But wait???!!!
What they did to fix it.
1. Demped verry high volumes!
2. Bass is gone and added more treble! So get used to plastic bass like the late 90's early 2000 in-ear headphone speakers with walkman with tapes!
3. Those nice deep space special sounds effects that you have with bass is gone!
4. WTF?! When at high volume, if a song goes in higher volume, phone reduce the volume (in background), if it goes lower, the volume goes up again, but goes back down when music has higher frequency/volume.
First i thought it was the song. But after listening to almost 22 songs, and listen back again and again to those pieces in music where it happens, i whas/ No I am sure, that this is a new problem!
They nerved the whole music system/speakers down.
Asus are u kidding me?!

Seth_Given the number of messages here and in the Chinese section, the confirmation by an ASUS moderator, there is only the solution to test for yourself🤔https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/237323#Comment_237323
