ROG 5 Joke performance even after the latest update .226

Still trash performance even at the latest update, I was hoping on the latest update they will fix the downclocking of the cpu but ohh boy it' still the same.... locking at 1.08ghz when it reach up to 47c to 48c while playing genshin, what hurt the most is I'm only using medium settings at 60fps but it's barely reaching up to 50 fps while during combat or exploring demanding areas of the game.... I'm gonna attach a video to show I'm not kidding and for the asus mod to see that this phone is a joke at the current system update.....

Meet Google Drive – One place for all your files1 - Download profiles from above link.
2 - Open Armoury Crate.
3 - Open Scenario Profile for CODM or BGMI.
4 - Press the three dot on the top right corner.
5 - Import Scenario Profile.
6 - Apply.
7 - Do the same for both games.

Please note that these are very High Performance Profiles that I use with the Thermoelectric / Semiconductor (Peltier Cooler). If you don't use any kind of cooler and your temperature goes above 50C then please stop using the profile.

Thank you for posting this bro this really help me and the others , sadly I'm same as you the main reason I bought this phone because of the sole purpose of playing genshin impact..... Because on the early firmware of the phone even at 55c + the phone is still maintaining 2.38ghz which you can still play smoothly during intensive battle or demanding area... on the game The lowest fps you'll get is mostly around 40 fps your rarely see 30 fps......

So basically genshin impact is the most affected by this new update.... Well that's a bummer 😞

I also emailed asus regarding our concern: they replied immediately and they will do a diagnostic performance regarding genshin impact. I hope in the next update they will finally fix it... but still have my doubts 🤞

Yes, I am always at constant 60 FPS while exploring and only drops to 40 FPS when in a big fights when there are 5 or 6 enemies on the screen.
Now with the .210 and .226 update my fps is all over the place dropping to 20 FPS even while exploring and mostly getting 45 to 50 FPS and its gets worse during a fight.
My CPU would clock at 2.84GHz below 42C and never dropped below 2.38GHz above 42C in .86 firmware with X-Mode+ (Aeroactive Cooler Attached) if I remember correctly.

I don't like using AeroActiveCooler. I keep a mini Usb fan behind the phone to keep system temp below 40°C.
Hope it won't fry the cpu/motherboard. 🥺.
Few updates before,Cpu speed was locked at 2.27 on GT Lv2.
With your custom settings its locked to 2.04-2.27ghz and doesn't fall below it. Fluctuates between 2.04 - 2.15 - 2.38 - 2.84

May i know @ARP_ASUS @Gustav@Gustav_ASUS @Gustav_ASUS why your team did this deliberately? Most of the rog 5 owner's Mainboard died with normal daily use.

Under 45 C CPU was hitting full 2.8Ghz under load.

@Sarkiri Hey, I recently RMAd my phone and got a new Mobo and after that the phone has not received any updates and is stuck with Version WW-18.0840.2106.86 last year's July build.

Why dont you suggest me some games and scenarios to test so that we can build a proper comparison with the 226 version.

How I wish I can go back to that old firmware 😖 but nope asus I'ma force you to update your phone firmware.. to the latest firmware no matter how buggy it is... and yes you can manually update and postponed it... for one week only sadly ....
