[Solved] ARCore support for ZenFone 8

I got my ZenFone 8 a few days ago and I just tried to install the Google Play Services for AR in order to test an ARCore app I'm currently working on. But unfortunately, on the Play Store it says it is "no longer compatible" with the phone.
Do you know when the ZenFone 8 will be made compatible with ARCore?

Is there an expected timeline on this?
Based on the specs it was obvious that that both ZenFone8 versions will have AR Core capabilities. Based on this we bought several of them and we are very eager to know when can actually start using them for development.
For future reference, it would be great if the approval process could be finished before the phones are launched to the public 🙂

Yes it is understood. & want to tell you that Its totally upto Google when they will approve. So basically there is no any exact timeline for that.you will have to wait and see.

We believe the next round of approvals should be within a week or two.
