I just got rog phone 3 and battery drain is horrible. I lost 5% battery in 5 hours when i didnt touch phone (internet off, every app off, sleep mode on). Is it 6000mah? My huawei p30 pro drained just 2% battery in 9 hours when i did same (huawei is 4200mah). Is it normal or any update is bad for battery usage?
On an average most of us have been getting 10% for every hour which can improve according to Me but it's not bad . I recently made a change , I went to developer mode and reduced the animation, transition settings to 0.5x and I'm getting 1 extra hour sot .
They can improve the optimization through software updates but that idk when it'll happen . But eventually with 10% for every hour you will get 10-11 hours on a complete drain which is normal. Your battery does not have any problem
Tbh I doubt that but I'll check with the battery accu app and give you the results tomorrow.
I usually charge my phone upto 80% or sometimes 90% and when it reaches 20% I again charge it
From 80-20% I get 6-7 hours of usage and from 90- 20% I get 7-8.5 hours .
I have never drained my phone completely coz it's unhealthy for the battery but once I completely charged to 100 and allowed it to reach 10% and I got 10 hours of usage with 10% left
I'm pretty sure its a recalibration bug on my part. My phone hit 1% and stayed on it for like 50 minutes of instagram usage with x mode on and RGB lights and then then just laying around for like 4 hours. What should I do?
It's normal, i think. Mine takes around an hour or more to go from 0%-99%. Weirdly enough, if i leave the phone alone with the screen locked, while it's trying to complete the transition from 99%-100%, it will take another 20 mins or so. This happens on my Zenfone max pro m1 too.
My brightness is at 30%, refresh rate is144hz, i browse 9gag, reddit and YT, basically just browsing with BT earphones/ROG Cetra connected and the battery uses 1% every 4-9 mins (most common usage is 1%/4 mins. So that's around 15%/hour. This is ok, right?
If you think your battery life is bad, try to activate the SUPER SAVING feature, or AIRPLANE mode.
Take it easy, we are currently designing the ASUS ROG Phone IV, which is scheduled to be launched in Q1 2021, where it will bring many changes, including in battery capacity (~ 6600 mAh).
mine can barely hold one full day with normal usage.
i get more phone usage on my P 30 Pro. it is ridiculous plus all the bugs in this stupid phone.
my first reason to buy the phone is the 6000 battery and it gives me less than 4200 mah, i dont get it how,
what makes me more frustrated not all the phones have the same battery performance. some can get an amazing battery life, which means not all the batteries are the same

You mean deleting everything on phone and doing? Too much work 😅

Canni check you battery usage
Is it normal for 6000 mAh? I got better results on p30 pro with 4200 mAh.
How many hours of sot do u get with each charge .
And how much battery goes with one hour of usage ?
Maybe 10-12% per hour usage ( watching yt for example). I didnt check sot from 100 to 0%
Can u download Accu Battery from Google Play and check out battery like me? Its something wrong i think. 3400/6000 battery health.
In my opinion thats so bad for battery 6000mah
Is it normal to charge from 3% to 99% in 44 mins? I watched yt and it took about 1.5h. Maybe my battery isnt 6000mah?
Is that normal ? How is possible i only get 3h of battery 😅.
Thats sick. Im thinking about return this phone to seller. This is so badly optimized or phone doesnt get 6000mah.
it seems that not all the phones get the same batteries, some of them has an amazing SOT and others have a suck batteries
welcome to battery lottary world.
And every time battery is i incredible on youtube tests. But real life shows something another.

So Maybe do smth with this model. I paid 1000$ and this 6000 battery is worse than 4200 in huawei.
