I wrote a long time ago that support for the device stops this year. Here's another proof of that. You can even watch updates on ZenFone Max Pro M2, the update came and we did not. So much for the hope that ASUS trampled on and wiped his feet on us.
I think still they r working on A10
Only for a year of their work is not visible. And why should they start working this month? They gave up on us, and we need to accept this and avoid their devices.
They already stopped service for Pro devices. Last hope of users is still A10 stable update if Asus rolls out will be the final update for pro users. As devices are older that 2yrs & still there's no official communication out probability is less for rolling out. Same case happened with flagship zenfone 5, someone had posted in that community that Z5 will not receive anymore update A10, so if that same happens with pro devices then take ur final call
If they cut support, how will they release 10? They did it in silence, as they always did, and wiped their feet on us. SHAME ON THE SHITTY ASUS COMPANY!!!!
Zenfone 5 is not a flagship device, Zenfone 5z is a flagship device. Zenfone 5z recieved A10 stable way back in November 2019. Regarding Zenfone 5 it's still in beta stage like Max pro devices.
Ohkay bcoz I saw in Zenfone 5 community someone had posted like that before around last 1/2 months
He is not a MODERATOR
He is not the moderator and to some extent he wrote the right thing because Max pro and Zenfone 5 are 2 years old devices so from now onwards it will only receive 1-2 security updates with critical bug fixes (if needed). But 1 more security update for sure.
Yes thats right users should understand the things, many users who are already frustrated starts blaming the company instead what they even don't think that company is still working on it & users need to wait but don't wait & start....... Let it be this will only end when Asus officially announces.
Has ASUS ever announced that it is discontinuing support and will not release a new Android for the model? It's time to understand that they wiped their feet on us. And they're not working on 10 for our devices because they haven't done anything in 11 months. As it was full of errors in 10, so they remained. Even ZenFone zenfone Max Pro M2 has been updated, but ZenFone Max Pro M1 has not. They didn't even update the security patch for the last time, and what kind of 10 can we talk about? This is what only shit-ASUS does to users!!!
They have never said that ASUS have discontinued support for MPM2,
Mod has clearly said that there will be system update for MPM2
Just chill out buddy. If not A10 at least system updates still available as mentioned by @abhaykrishnan02
