Can't even record a gaming video on best gaming phone!

As a gaming phone, our device has this irritating glitch. When using a wired earphone, I repeat a wired earphone, when we record the internal sound, the sound delays while playing. Like if I record while playing PUBG, I have sound delay in game. It is a delay of 1 sec. As soon as I stop recording, delay disappears and when I watch the recorded video, that is also perfect, no delay there. I was on amdroid pie and I expected that this issue will be fixed in a10 but no. Last day I upgraded to A10 stable but the irritating issue is still there. As a gaming phone, mechanism of game recording is extremely important. Again it is independent of earphone. No matter if we use wireless or wired one or even without earphone, of we record gameplay, we experience delay due to which gaming while recording is merely impossible.
Asus has given us so many options as a gaming phone but if they cant even fix a silly issue like that... Then they should stop boasting things like "worshipped by gamers and bla bla."
And then ASUS support will come here and tell me to use 3rd party recording apps. Is this is really the kind of support that you provide us here? To use 3rd party apps.
A very good way of saying "we can't".
Even a $200 can do that perfectly.
Asus you are constantly failing as a good software provider. Keep it up.
Issue has been reported already here for months and months ago and still they are working on it or I would rather say they are suggesting us to use 3rd party apps.
In the launch even before comparing your devices to all the high end devices and saying that we can do what they can't and bla bla, I'd rather suggest you to focus on basics ASUS.
A good screen recorder is a basic thing for a gaming smartphone.
I request you to please work on this one. This used to work perfectly before. Please help asus. If you can't then who else would?
If so many people are reporting the issue, then it is a major problem.
Thank you

And one more thing, I have even done factory reset as well. Still its same.
"Like if I record while playing PUBG, I have sound delay in game. It is a delay of 1 sec."
If you're experiencing anything more than a delay of around 100-200 ms while recording, there's something else going on than the software limitation we've been talking about in similar threads here on Zentalk. Another user was reporting the same thing as you and his problem was resolved by performing a factory reset and not restoring his data first-thing after the reset.
See this thread for more information on the subject: https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/92855/#Comment_92855
@Gustav_ASUS
Okay it's not a second Delay its 100-200 ms only. What about fixing it then??
And why so called software limitation oy exists only to ROG 2? Why no other device has it? Even when I purchased it, this issue wasn't there. You can see in the same thread you sent me that this issue arised after an update. So why cannot you just swe what changed you have made which ruined it?
It's just that you don't even intend to look into the issue asus. If you want you can look into the changes you've made or even you can take some help or design this recorder from scratch.
I guess it's all about willingness at the end of the day asus.
Well done
@Anders_ASUS help on this!
That post i made was when i tested phone with 0 apps, as i install apps and use the phone the delay increases overtime!! So annoying. I am not formatting my phone again just to fix this 1 sec delay. Moreover this issue is just in rog. I can bare 100ms delay but why do we need to compromise with such hardware whereas no other phones i see have same issue as asus. Do nothing but at least update the screen recorder and add a few feature like removing the annoying overlay thst counts the seconds of us recording. Its so distracting and covers screen while gaming. Add more options. You can take idea from the app called "Screen Recorder-No ADS" on googleplay. Its good app but cannot record the ingame audio. Please just consider this request for god sake.
I really wonder if this is the kind of support they provide here. They can't do it! They are suggesting 3rd party apps. Horrible! They can't even fix a silly recorder issue from their side! Like why should we experience even 100 ms delay? No other device out there has that issue and these asus support talking about android limitations as if only they are giving android OS in their device
Do you have the 8GB RAM version of the phone?
Yes I do have 8GB global version only
Thanks! I am on the 12GB version and not facing the issue. I am on the latest version of the firmware.
You already tried factory reset, and if you haven't done so already, install only the game you're playing and see if you face the same issue? This means nothing else including launchers and any apps you install. We can investigate from here.
The delay increases after installing apps and using mobile which is utter nonsense, so asus want me to not install apps and not use mobile, if i want to use the screen recorder do i always have to factory reset to remove the delay??? Srsly why even have delay. I mean even after factory reset you face delay but that is very small delay. I would say asus should get a fix to this immediately
Unless you have the 12GB version, 8GB is not really a lot of resource considering how much is needed to run a game, Android and any additional apps nowadays. You're right that it's ridiculous in doing factory reset everytime, but if a hardware reaches it limit, you certainly cannot go further.
I am only saying that because from experience lower spec of the model won't be good enough and the higher spec is too darn expensive for me, therefore I always go for the medium one which is 12GB RAM and 512GB storage space.
Not everyone would agree with me, but it's my 2 cents.
Pc/desktop can run games like gta5 which consume more ram than pubg for sure and talking about this issue being due to ram then i have seen 6gb ram phones and 4 gb ram phones can dont have this issue so dont say its hardware limitation of 8gb version because its non sense.
More over i have 8gb ram laptop which can do alot more than my phone with same ram without any limitations ofc only when gaming. I dont understand why i need 12gb ram version to not have this issue???? Phones that have way less ram doesnt have this issue. Show me one device that have this same issue, just show me one device alright? I am pretty sure its not hardware ok?
I have a 8GB RAM PC and i5 and while GTA V can run, BUT the game is set to low resolution and my graphics quality is set to low. Anything higher, the game does not allow you to change it.
RAMs in PCs and Laptops have little differences. PC and Laptop RAMs have performance RAMs or have more generations to them. Get a low quality and cheap RAM and you will see and feel the difference.
RAM hopefully you know is memory right? Having good RAM and poor core processing is like you can hold alot of information but you can't hold everything because your processor does not process quick enough concurrently. Vice-versa, if you have good processor which is good at multi-tasking but low RAM, the memory or RAM cannot cope with the amount of information. That explains why other phones can manage it well. The spec is unbalanced for a game like PUBG.
In other words, just because you have the best processing power and memory is low, it does not mean you have the best hardware. Both need to complement with each other so it works together.
You probably won't understand this or don't believe me, but I have tried.
Explain why 6gb ram or 4gb ram phones doesnt have this issue, if they do have this issue name them with valid proof. Any other explaination will be ignored at least by me because you change topics too quick.
Easy to explain and it's probably why you're using ROG 2 now and not other phones. If it was working for you, why did you switch?
But anyway:

Issues and the fix as suggested:
I can find lots of articles which doesn't neccessary relate to a phone that have a sound delay. I suggest understanding how audio and video works.
The first link you sent has sound delay in bluetooth headphones and in rog 2 we have delay in both bluetooth and wired. No phones i know of has wired recording issue. Show me a phone that has wired sound delay issue "while recording"
The galaxy s9 link you sent that has video audio out of sync issue is after the recording not during the recording. Read carefully what he posted, he said the recorded video has audio that is out of sync not that the audio is out of sync "during the recording."
The samsung community link you sent right above the last link is totally unrelateable because in that post they are talking about screen lag problem which is fps drops as per my concern. So that link is useless
