DTS audio is not getting enabled automatically

Hello team,
DTS audio is not working properly. Everytime, I have to open the audio wizard and select any audio mode (eg. Rock) when I play music with any music player. Could you provide solution for this issue.

Are you saying that DTS sound stage won't turn on unless you first change sound mode?
Yes, correct. Especially for music player. Seems, it is running but until I select some mode,DTS audio is not taking effect.
I tried without luck replicating the issue using spotify. Are you using BT headphones. Does it happen all the time and right away?
I use Google play music app and power amp. I see this issue in both the apps. I hear music in the morning and evening everyday. During the time I need to select some mode in Audio wizard to enable the DTS audio. It is not happening if you close and open the app right away. But It happens after a long gap.
Wired headphones...i used Amazon prime music and hungama music app. Also make sure to quit audio wizard after you select a mode... Select a mode while listening songs...quit the audio wizard..ask someone to call you .once call is over listen to same song you will notice DTS x mode is disabled.here you have to go again to audio wizard , click custom to reactivate
Yes I use Wired headphone, I missed to mention this in my previous note.
i too face this issue. i have to open audio wizard and select the effect to apply it. this issue happens if i play music after long time(few hours) or if i answer a call inbetween.
In my case it was off by factory. First time I plugged in my headphones I have enabled it, set to WIDE and since then it stays on all the time.
It is still happening for me. @Anders_ASUS Do you have any update?
I tried replicating using your steps but with Google Music as I do not have Amazon music. Unfortunately it work. Maybe I have to listen for a long period. Taking calls didn't matter.
Power Amp is the nemesis of Audio Wizard because of the built in EQ so I don't expect these two to get along but all/most other music apps should work
Poweramp works with DTS.?
It is sure that DTS is getting turned off when you receive incoming call when you hear music using Google Play music.
It works but there are issues for some users and our devs conclusion is that the PowerAmp EQ interferes with AudioWizard
We could try and log your phone to find out why this is happening to you. Are you willing to do that? The log tool will log everything on your phone during the time it's installed so I have to check if you're ok with this?
I'm not using Poweramp. Issue can be easily reproduce just by making incoming call when you hear music with Google Play or watching youtube songs. I'm ok to log my phone if you cannot reproduce the issue at your end.
I am ready...send the apk or details
@SHEIKH AZHARUDDIN I sent you a PM.
@sathishinsat2 Sent you a PM as well.
Thanks ?
I have reproduced the issue and sent the logs...at first it was difficult to reproduce even with outgoing calls...but when i received one incoming call DTS audio stopped working i had to open the audio wizard again, click custom (middle) button to reactivate.
Music app: Amazon prime music
Also one way to reproduce which i noticed now..if you pause the song and browse other apps for sometime(here i was busy uploading logs and type the message) then if you play the song then dts stopped working...go to DTS audio wizard to reactivate
@LP_ASUS , I have uploaded the logs to Google drive. Sent you the link in PM.
Steps I followed to reproduce the issue.
App: google play music
1.Open audio wizard enable dts
2.Play a song in Google Play music
3.Close the audio wizard from background/recent window but song will continue with DTS audio
4.Pause the song
5.Get a incoming call
6.Play the song again and you will notice the DTS audio is getting disabled.
7.Open the audio wizard and click center to reactivate DTS audio
Note: Point no 3 is not mandatory because the behaviour is inconsistent. Sometimes dts is getting disabled even the audio wizard app is open.
Ditto!??
