Suggestions for Manual update

Hi,
1. Model name : Asus_X00TD
2. Firmware version : OPM1.WW_Phone-15.2016.1902.340-20190216
3. Rooted or not : No
4. Frequency of occurrence : permanent
5. App name : FOTA service
The problem persists from buying of the phone. I can't update via the system update option in my phone. It doesn't shows any update available for my phone.



I want to know that is it safe to update my phone via Manual update directly to latest firmware version WW-16.2017.2005.082 (1.53 GB) available at your website or should I update it stepwise (i.e from Android 8 to 9 & then 10)

Hi please find the below steps:
1. As you are on .340 currently which is based on Android 8 as per screenshot shared by you - you can check for any Automatic update.
2. If no Automatic system update found, Download this update for Android 9 Version WW-16.2017.1905.053
3. Android 9 latest version is .082 currently.
4. Android 10 is under beta testing right now - firmware available on the ASUS support website, in case if you are interested. Click here: https://www.asus.com/in/Phone/ZenFone-Max-Pro-M1-ZB601KL/HelpDesk_BIOS/

As I understood from your reply is
To update my phone first to Android 9 .053 version and then go for Android 9 .082 version. Right..??
