I have observed that my phone's charging in my Zenfone max pro M1 is improving if I turn on my battery saver all the time. However I would like to know if it's advisable to turn on all the time. How does this effect my phone and it's performance in the long run.

It is users choice to turn it on or not. Certainly it helps to stay for longer time than usual limiting some features of phone.

CPU performance decreases
u can't play some games smoothly there will be some frame drop
brightness decreases
dark mode turns on in all google apps

Hi, there is no harm in keeping it on, it depends on your preference.

Yeah it'll not be harmful to device but it'll be harmful to your usage, your phone will lag, stutter and slow down while doing most stuff, games will work worse, personally my twitter becomes unusable when power saving is active, overall it's bad experience.
