Charging Limit Zenfone 9

Hi all, sorry I'm just curious about charging limit on Zenfone 9.

While it doesn't have bypass charging feature, what will happened if I limit the charging to 90% but keep the phone plugged in?

It should be stopped charging at 90%, right?

So, does that mean we can treat it as bypass charging because the phone will automatically stopped the charging the battery?

No, this is not the case, when it reaches 90% the charging will stop temporarily, then after a certain threshold the charging will resume
