Always-on Panel modes

In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

Currently the always on panel/clock has 3 options to be displayed: touch to display for 10 seconds, always, scheduled. Would it be possible to add a 4th option that would display the always on display clock and notifications only when there are unread notifications? This would allow to quickly see at a glance if there are new notifications, without having the screen always on or having to constantly touch to show.
