Hi, I've recently replaced the broken display on my Zenfone 8, everything works flawlessly and the repair was well made, but the fingerprint sensor doesn't work anymore. I believe this is due to a software lock. Can anyone help me make it work again since the phone hardware is perfectly fine?
I have smiliar issue, but in my case my motherboard is dead, and i found someone selling zenfone 8 with broken screen, after swapping the motherboard everything work fine except fingerprint reader, i have do factory reset but no luck
