Zenfone 7 still does not support VoLTE on most of the carriers in Germany. In my case it's Mobilcom Debitel in O2 network. I switched from Vodafone and it was the same there. I can barely understand what people are saying in some of the phone calls. The voice quality is bad compared to another random phone I have available here. Whenever I call via the other phone, all is fine.
LTE speedtest shows 20-40Mbps download and 5-15Mbps upload, I can do Whatsapp video calls no problem, but not everything is on Whatsapp. Most of the important government services or companies are not on WeChat or Whatsapp or whatever and this is where understanding the other party matters most.
This should still be up there on ASUS priority list as repeated multiple times by multiple users. It would be helpful to at least know the progress on this topic or at the very least receive a big fat clear NO.
