RaixGames

Hey,
I have my Zenfone for 1 month now and everything went fine but after I upgraded to Android 10 my phone starts OverHeating. When I play some big games like NFS Heat Studio or COD: Mobile, it starts overheating. I am scared about this overheating and I dont want to damage my phone So early because I love him.
Any solutions?

Your temperatures are high but not too high. It does get hot when you play games that utilize the GPU a lot. This is because the system can only underclock the CPU, not the gpu.

Maybe the thermal engine was changed for the snapdragon 855 but for the snapdragon 821 I know you could underclock the GPU with the thermal engine like this

Suggest under lock both cpu and gpu proportionally. Whats the use for fast gpu if cpu can't work fast? That way overall frame rate will be higher in thermally limited situation

Like in most modern games it's the GPU that does most of the heavy lifting. This goes for both PC and phones. Even at half speed (depending on which game) the CPU doesn't necessarily become a bottleneck for the GPU
