SIm slot 1 not working

SIM slot 1 on my phone is not working and showin unknown carrier I interchanged the SIMS and still slot 1 is not able to read the SIM.

Did you enabled dual VoLTE ?
Setting -> SIM Card -> Dual SIM 4G

Can you exchange SIMs with your carrier? If that doesn't resolve it, you might need to visit a service center for a hardware repair.
