I'm having trouble with my mic too. When i receive a call the caller cant hear me, unless i turn on the speaker. Plus my camera records all surrounding sound. What might cause this type of problem??

You're talking about a T-mobile bug which has been fixed.

I'm not talking abt the mic that's present in the earphone. The one that has a sponge kind of thing through which we talk.

The mix is the small hole next to the speaker at the bottom of your phone. Try to clean it with a very thing needle and be careful so you don't damage your mic

I think he is talking about external mic like Rode Boyo
Condenser microphones, shotgun microphones.
If that's the case then you should have a check on jacks
Like 3.5mm 2.5mm mono stereo,

Ok, yeah, that makes sense 🙂
So probably a pin incompatibility or that the external mic requires phantom power to work.

No didn't work in one of my old phone (Asus max pro m1).
