Display freezes

At random, at least I did not observed yet a pattern leading to the display frozen. I am running my thumb like a crazy cat on a slippery surface without getting any result I simply reboot. It is extremely annoying, almost claustrophobic.
Is there some advice , trick, settings I could use or is it a defective display. Thank you

I had this trouble too,i did a hard reset.....it fixed almost every issue i had with the device

Its the launcher that's causing this thing,just do a reset and u will be fine

A reset of the phone and to reinstall all appS? I am not using the Asus launcher but Nova.

Then we need to know whats causing this but reset will solve the problem
