LP_ASUS@LP_ASUS may i know why it need factory reset after upgrade to new android version. Is it needed everytime we upgrade. This update to.110 is horribleYou're saying that between Android 9, and this latest update for Android 10, you went from 21 hours of use to only 8? That's significant.
My first question is, have you factory reset the phone since you updated to Android 10? If not, I suggest doing that.
If you already have, and are still seeing that significant of a battery loss, then I recommend contacting your local ASUS service center for a warranty repair.

nevilleklamIt is only needed when you have tangible issues after a major software update. Some of our users have been using the device for 5-6 months without factory resetting once and have no issues. It all depends on what apps you have installed and how you use the phone.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/36811#Comment_36811

A factory reset is a great way to reset all settings in cases where you can't easily track down the source of an issue. If the issues disappear after a reset, then it wasn't a bug in the software persay, but how the two versions updated themselves.
If you reset the device and are still having the same problem, then we know there is something wrong in that version of the software that we need to look for and fix. In that case we would most likely log your phone to see what's going on.
