Nope they didn't release the beta in india.
Only india has "ASUS" logo in software update section while checking for new updates rest of the regions has "zenfone" logo.
I didn't see any images that is related to beta update in india.
My thoughts only.....

That's because Asus is prohibited from using zenfone name in India due to some copyright issue. That's why it's called 6z in India instead of Zenfone6. Hence the name Asus in the system update page.

Zenfone logo will never be visible to indian market because of patent issues
So,You will always see ASUS instead of zenfone only for indian market
