WiFi disconnects after phone sleep for a while

After the update on WW.100.10.107.70, mobile network is disconnected after some time while phone is locked. And still not connecting if phone is unlocked. I have to turn off wifi and turn it back on again for things to sync up. Any fix? Very annoying due to delayed notifications.
Battery optimization on apps like whatsapp has been disabled.
Battery saver has been disabled also.

Hi, i've reset network settings and it still occurs.

(To clarify, the wifi is still connected when the problem occurs, but the internet isn't running. My other phone don't have this issue)

It is on wifi, mobile data don't have the same problem

I only have access to one wifi though.

It usually occurs after 1-2 hours or more inactivity (phone not touched)

My battery mode is always on balanced

Same problem persists.... Don't know what to do.... It disconnects and then reconnects. When I clear all the apps from the recents then the internet suddenly comes back (ps:- not the network, it is aldredy there, only internet somehow gets terminated)
