Hello there,

The moderators are aware of the update schedule. But this calendar has not been officially shared by asus. Due to the confidentiality agreement of the moderators, they cannot give us any information. Our response should not be to the moderators, but Asus. Finally, the Zenfone 5's 18-month update promise is full. Most likely, after the last stable update of A9 Pie, support will end. A10 will remain in beta with Aosp.

Please, any idiot knows that due the pandemy (thanks to China) many of the software development in the whole world is delayed. It's not different with Asus. So they can't suspend the project in the middle because of the end of cycle. Be patient guys. But do not expect nothing different than currently we got regarding Android 10. From Engineering, hard work for a stable version of Android 10 and 2 more security updates.
