Bluetooth Causes Lag

RAM: 6G
Firmware/APP Version: Android Pie September update
Frequency of Occurrence: Everytime
Rooted: No
APP Name: Bluetooth settings

Everytime I open my bluetooth, it causes my phone to freeze. I have to wait for the bluetooth to fully activate before the phone starts behaving normal again.
