Bug in

Bug in zenfone 11 ultra battery charging modes. There are 3 different modes of charging: normal, bypass and intelligent bypass (im not quite sure what they are in english but whatever). The problem is that there is no difference between them. I timed three 10- minute sessions, 10 minutes for each mode. The results were that in normal charging mode battery charge went from 12% to 19%, in bypass mode it went from 19 % to 26 % and in intelligent bypass mode it went from 27 % to 35 %. Input was 5v & 3A.

Also, why does the phone only charge at maximum of 15 watts when in fast charge mode? I have anker 100w charger (a2343) and i cant charge at the advertised wattage

And after having posted this, i happened to check my phone while it was charging to full. I've had the option to charge the phone slower to preserve battery health. Does this option also do nothing? Might want to check that as well, because it doesn't feel noticeably slower than regular charging

Hello @Registerdouble

As the user srota mentioned, it could be a compatibility issue, to access the full charging potential the charger needs to be compatible with PPS and PD 3.0.

Hi

I confirmed with anker support that the model i have is compatible with PPS and PD3.0

Are you using the cable that was provided with the Zenfone?
