Brand new Zenphone 10, Android Auto Wireless disconnects shortly after connecting. Took it back, and received another from the store, has the excact same issue, so appears to be a software issue, and not hardware.
Tried setting Android Auto, and all apps AA uses (spotify, messenger etc) to UNRESTRICTED under the battery optimization section in apps settings, however Android Auto keeps reverting to "Optimized"
The reverting to optimized seems to coincide with the disconnects, unsure if the setting change is because of the disconnect, or vice versa.
-The Headunit I'm testing with works fine with my partners Zenphone 9, as well as multiple other phones.
-I have tried chaning Bluetooth AVRCP and Map Versions in developer settings, which hasn't fixed it.
-I have factory resetting both the phone, and headunit, which hasn't fixed it.
-I have disable all Battery/App optimization, such as power saving, and the ASUS boost/kill functions.
I believe there is a software/firmware issue on ASUS's end that needs addressing, and I suspect it is to do with either battery optimizations, or app and background services killing/stopping.
Can anyone shed any light on this issue, or is there a development team that could work with me to develop a fix that could be incorporated in futre updates?

Hey @Fluff,
Can you please mention your car model?

Aftermarket Headunit, Atoto S8 Pro, although I'm certain this isn't a issue on the headunit side, as I cannot replicate the behavior on 4 other phones I've tested, including a Zenphone 9, and the power optimization settings on the z10 keep defaulting with ever dropout.

anyone got any ideas on how to get onto the dev team to get a fix sorted?
