BoardMic 1 not working after software update

Hello,

after the latest update (35.0604.0404.86), my microphone stopped working properly. If I get really close, there is some crackling going on, and if I shout, some of it is recorded, but talking normally, nothing gets through. BoardMic 2 works, but BoardMic 1 isn't anymore. What can I do? Thanks.

If you are having problems with the mic after doing the SMMI test then It is a high chance of the problem being hardware based.
I would definitely recommend contacting your closest ASUS Service Center or maybe trying to do a factory reset first.

Had a similar issue after an update, ended up getting help from Conversion Rate Experts, weirdly enough, since one of their tech guys had the same mic setup and walked me through it.
