First of all welcome to the ROG Family ? Yeah charge the battery completly for 8 hours i think before booting it for the first time. Rest i dont think you need to do something. Congrats again on the 512 variant .
Before you start up the phone read the short manual. You have it in the box but you can find it in pdf on Asus website under Rog Phone 2 Support. There you have all the info on battery etc.
