Do you get any message saying that it's overheating or is it just you who think that it's getting too hot?
ROG Phone II is better than most phones on getting the heat out. This is why it will run stable for much longer without throttling like most phones. You normally don't notice this with normal flagship phones since modern hardware can push 60fps in most games even when the cpu is throttling.
